A racially ambiguous woman with golden wings rises into a luminous sky as a broken cage dissolves below, symbolizing freedom, self-love, and limitless potential.

I Rise

"I rise above the heavy clouds
of my self-doubt—

the thunderous pounding of my wings,
shaped like my hopes
and dreams."

I Rise

I rise above the heavy clouds
of my self-doubt—

the thunderous pounding of my wings,
shaped like my hopes
and dreams.

I screamed inside my cage of programming…
the door was always open,
but I had to learn how to see—
so that I could set myself free.

I rise to the heavens
with stunning velocity.

My wings grow lighter
as I cast away
the burden of my mediocrity.

I soar like the unlimited potential
of my imagination.

My laughter reverberates joyously
as the illusion of limitation
fades away
into wondrous manifestations.

I rise.
I rise.

I rise because I learned
to see myself
with loving eyes.
