Author, Poet & Truth-teller

Unconditionally

I taught people
who were raised to be racist
how to love me.

I loved them unconditionally
until I removed the shadows
of ancestral conditioning.

I taught them
my self-worth was inexplicably intoxicating.

I said,
I love you
the way you were meant to love me.

Regardless of your conditioning.

I love you—
unconditionally.

United we are strong,
and love fuses us together
magically.

We were lied to
and turned into enemies.

But—

Sister.
Brother.
Mother.
Father.

We are all heavenly.

I love you strongly,
and unconditionally.

We are all one.

Even when you don’t believe me,
and call me your enemy.

I still love you…
unconditionally.
