Fiction by Alethea Jimison (pen Name Everly Wave)

Sapphic Romance, Fantasy & Sci-Fi

Under my pen name Everly Wave, I write sapphic romance and sci-fi for queer women who are tired of wince-worthy characters created by the mass indoctrination of anti-femininity disguised as angry, self-sabotaging feminism.
I got exhausted reading queer books filled with emotionally immature characters acting like petulant adolescents. So I started writing fiction with characters who actually evolve by dealing with their trauma—not wallowing in it or using it as an excuse to treat people like shit.
 
My sapphic fiction features queer women who are complex, feminine (when they want to be), emotionally intelligent, and capable of growth. A little drama, a lot of laughter, and snark all over. These are love stories where queer women get to be messy AND mature, vulnerable AND strong, without sacrificing their femininity or their fire.
Because escapism shouldn’t erase you—and it shouldn’t insult your intelligence either. My LGBTQ+ romance and sci-fi novels are for readers who want queer love stories with depth, humor, emotional maturity, and characters you’d actually want to be friends with.
